Connector Actions

Go to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. Read the Connector Overview article for general instructions on how to add a connector.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

Project Key
- Most requests can be made with only a Project key.
- All requests can be made with only an Engine key, as the Project will be automatically inferred.

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

This section describes how to set up parameters and options for each action.

Parameter	Description
User	Unique identifier for the user. If the user does not yet exist, this action will create one. For more information, see: Tamber’s documentation
Behavior	The unique behavior name.
Item	Item associated with the event.
Amount	The amount that the behavior was performed. Example: Percentage of the movie that was watched, rating given, etc.). Defaults to `1.0` if a value is not supplied.
Created	Time the event occurred. Defaults to the current time if a value is not supplied.
Hit	Set to true to indicate that the event represents a successful recommendation. For example, The item in the event was presented to the user as a recommendation.
Context Data	The context in which the event occurred. Useful for segmenting events data to determine the impact of interface elements and other contextual variables on user behavior. Also useful for A/B testing interface changes.
