Splunk Connector Setup Guide

This article describes how to set up the Splunk connector.

Connector Actions

Action Name	AudienceStream	EventStream
POST - Visitor to Index	✓	✗

Go to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. Read the Connector Overview article for general instructions on how to add a connector.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

REST API Username
- Required
REST API Password
- Required
REST API Complete Host URL
- Required
- Provide the complete Splunk Server REST endpoint, including protocol and port.

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

This section describes how to set up parameters and options for each action.

Parameter	Description
Select the Target Index	Required Select the target Splunk Index to post the Visitor JSON to.
Print Attribute Names	If attribute names get updated, the names in the payload will reflect the update.
