Connector Actions

Create or Update a Lead	✓	✗

Go to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. Read the Connector Overview article for general instructions on how to add a connector.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

Host
- Your API host is dependent on the region your account was created and could be one of the following:
  - api.leadsquared.com (for accounts created in Singapore region)
  - api-us11.leadsquared.com (for accounts created in US region)
  - api-in21.leadsquared.com (for accounts created in India region)
- To find your API host, navigate to My Account > Settings > API and Webhooks.

Access key
- Every API call requires an access key and secret key to be passed in the API URL for authentication.
- Any action performed using APIs uses the credentials of the user whose keys are passed.
- The accessKey and secretKey can be obtained from the My Account > Settings > API and Webhooks section.

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

This section describes how to set up parameters and options for each action.

Parameter	Description
Attributes	Pass as many lead fields (including custom fields) as you want, but be sure to pass at least one of the following: FirstName LastName EmailAddress* Phone* These fields are unique by default. It is therefore recommended to pass at least one of them while creating a lead. If you want to change your unique field settings, navigate to My Account > Settings > Customization > Lead Fields* and click the wheel icon beside a lead field to mark or remove uniqueness. The email address and phone fields are used as the default search criteria. If none of these match with an existing lead, a new lead will be created. You can pass the “SearchBy” attribute to search by a particular parameter. For more information, see Leadsquared’s documentation
