Session timeout

How it works

Tealium iQ account sessions have a default idle timeout of 60 minutes, after which you will be logged out of your account. You can change the session expiration time to be longer or shorter based on your security needs.

The session expiration time is an account-level setting that applies to all profiles in in both the client-side and server-side interfaces of the Tealium Customer Data Hub.

Requirements

Only users with Manage Account permissions can change the session expiration times for Tealium iQ accounts.

Configuring the session expiration time

Follow these steps to configure the session expiration time for your account:

1. Log in to your Tealium iQ account.
2. In the admin menu, click Account Settings. The Account Settings window appears.
3. Click Session Timeout.
4. Set your custom session expiration time in minutes. The minimum is 5 minutes.
5. Close the Account Settings window. You do not need to save or publish your account for the new settings to take effect.
