Eloqua Tag Set Up Guide
This article describes how to set up the Eloqua tag.
Tag Tips
- Keep the default setting of Wait = Yes so that the Eloqua JavaScript (JS) file will run on DOM Ready.
- For form tracking, use mapping to set values for the following parameters:
form_tracking
(on)elqFormName
elqFormGUIDElement
Tag Configuration
First, go to Tealium’s tag marketplace and add the Eloqua tag (Learn more about how to add a tag).
After adding the tag, configure the following settings:
- Title
Assign a unique name when using multiple tags by the same vendor. - Site ID
Site ID is typically a series of numbers. - First-Party Cookie Domain Name
The domain name for your first-party cookie
Data Mappings
Mapping is the process of sending data from a data layer variable to the corresponding destination variable of the vendor tag. For instructions on how to map a variable to a tag destination, see Data Mappings.
